Description

It is a fish with a fusiform body, elongated and slightly compressed on the sides. Its head is small and sharp.

Its skin is silver, with spots all over its body.

It breeds in rivers, grows in the sea and then returns to where it was born to reproduce.

Its size usually ranges between 40 and 120 cm.

It feeds on small fish and crustaceans.
