Description

It is a white fish. His body is tall and elongated. His eyes are large, his jaw is prominent.

Yellowish brown on the sides, and dark silvery gray belly, turning yellow.

It lives in coastal regions, especially on rocky bottoms.

Its size can range from 30 to 45 cm in length, and its weight ranges from 1 to 1.2 kg.

It is caught in different fishing methods: longline and trawling.
